Stoopid Buddy Animates 2D Credits for The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special

While The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special delighted fans with the induction of Kevin Bacon into the MCU, it also gave us a chance to flex our 2D muscles. The special is bookended by 2D fully animated scenes, reminiscent of the Ralph Bakshi style of the 60s and 70s. We achieved this through rotoscoping – the art of hand-drawing over live-action footage. And we pulled it off in just two months! Santa’s elves work hard, but our Buddies work harder!
